As we mentioned above, there’s little actual variety in the types of promotions which SponsioBet have in place. If you’re a big fan of free bets, though… this might be the sportsbook for you!

Despite being such a new sportsbook, we must say that SponsioBet have already done a fantastic job of providing a competitive range of markets. That goes not only for the number of sports you can bet on, but the ways in which you can bet on those sports too.

Football is by far the most popular sport to bet on in the UK. It’s no surprise, therefore, to see that it also dominates SponsioBet’s platform. It has by far the most markets, with hundreds – at least – usually available at any one time.
The coverage offered by those markets is excellent. The development of live features has changed sports betting forever, and SponsioBet have certainly capitalised on this trend. Live betting opportunities are absolutely everywhere here.
The menu featuring all the sports markets is split in two between ‘Live’ and ‘Pre-Match’, and live markets are actually the ones you’ll see first by default. In the main part of the interface, you can also choose to see ‘Live Overview’, ‘Live Multiview’ and ‘Live Calendar’ layouts, offering you an excellent amount of control over how you view live markets.
All of this is backed up by highly-capable in-play and cash out features. For most sports, you’ll also have access to live statistics and a visualisation tool as a match is ongoing, so that – even without live streaming – you can still keep up with the action.
On-the-go betting is bigger than ever, and it’s only getting more popular over time. In fact, some new bookies are choosing to operate exclusively on mobile devices, foregoing a desktop platform entirely.
In this context, we were both surprised and disappointed to find that there is currently no SponsioBet app available, either for iOS or Android users. We understand that this is a brand-new bookie… but given how important mobile betting is, surely an app could have been developed before the brand was launched?
Regardless, on-the-go betting here must be done entirely via SponsioBet’s mobile website. While this is a functional replacement, it could certainly be greatly improved. The layout hasn’t really been adapted at all for a smaller screen size, making the whole interface – and particularly betting markets – a pain to navigate. Let’s be clear: SponsioBet is not exactly the most feature-packed sportsbook on the market. The same methods are generally available when making a withdrawal, which take three business days to process. The good news is that the minimum amount you can withdraw is a mere £2.50, which is much lower than most other bookies. The rest of the navigation is handled via three simple menus. At the top you have the vital ‘Cashier’ and ‘Account’ options, to the left you have the full list of sports, and at the bottom you have Contact Us, FAQ, Terms and Conditions, and so on.
Visually, the layout is fairly easy on the eye. The black, grey and purple colour scheme looks cool and modern, and – while the screen can look a little busy sometimes – you can still discern all the text, odds, and so on without any trouble.
This is one area in which newer bookies can lag behind more established competitors. Thankfully, though, that’s not the case with SponsioBet. Both email and live chat are available, with the latter having excellent coverage hours of 08:00 – 00:00. Accessing both contact options is straightforward too, requiring the mere click of a button along the top menu.
SponsioBet’s indirect support isn’t quite so impressive. There is an FAQ section in place, but it’s not easy to find any particular answer you’re looking for. Annoyingly, the FAQ only actually talks about the Casino section too, rather than the Sports section, although much of the information is still relevant.

We do know that it’s operated by ProgressPlay, though, who have plenty of experience in online gambling.
